The Cyclonic Swami Vivekananda in the West edited by Sukalyan Sengupta and Makarand Paranjape examines Vivekananda’s contemporary significance. “The Cyclonic Hindu” is how Swami Vivekananda was described after his stunning debut at the Parliament of Religions in 1893.
