Meenakshi Mukherjee, one of India's best-known scholars and critics, was formerly Professor of English, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and is currently Honorary Professor, University of Hyderabad. A founder-editor of Wagarth, her numerous publications include Twice Born Fiction, Realism and Reality, Re-reading Jane Austen and The Perishable Empire.

Professor Victor Ramraj, University of Calgary, Canada

Victor Ramraj is a senior professor of English at the University of Calgary. He is also the editor of the journal ARIEL: A Review of International English Literature. An influential and highly respected critic and scholar, he has published several books, and essays in reputed international journals.
